Repair, Inspection & Parts
When it comes to taking care of your tank, there’s nothing better than an ounce of preventative and proactive care. In fact, the American Water Works Association recommends that your tank be inspected every five years to maximize its lifespan and minimize downtime due to maintenance issues. That’s because it’s far easier to resolve issues that are identified early on — before they grow into larger problems.
With regular inspections and repairs, you can:
- Keep your tank running at optimal efficiency
- Decrease or eliminate downtime due to maintenance issues
- Remain compliant at all times
Whether your tank needs a routine inspection, repair, new parts, replacement parts, or additional appurtenances, we’ve got you covered.
Check out the SolarBee and GridBee product guide to help ensure your tank is operating at optimal performance.
A long-lasting tank starts with proactive and preventative inspections. Tank inspections — whether by underwater ROV, drone, diver, or our on-the-ground experts — help to identify minor issues before they become big problems.
Keep your tank up and running longer and more efficiently: get inspected.
We inspect all tank types, makes, and models and tanks that are either in service or out of service.
We perform:
- Interior and exterior water quality inspections
- HD drone exterior video
- Underwater video with our remotely operated video (ROV) system, Video Ray
- Temperature/Stratification testing
- Coatings testing
- Structural testing
- Assessment of maintenance and repair requirements
Using the latest technology, we’ll inspect your tank for signs of damage, thermal stratification – which the first sign of disinfectant residual loss – and the formation of THMs. Upon completion of the inspection, you’ll receive a report accepted by your state’s regulatory agency.
In-Tank Inspections
Have you ever wondered, what can an inspector actually see inside my tank? The answer is: a lot. Using a VideoRay ROV camera system that incorporates the latest in underwater inspection and digital recording, our in-house ROV specialists, licensed drone pilots and tank experts perform the inspection.
Your in-tank inspection includes:
- A certified report and written summary
- DVD recording of tank inspection
- A copy of your tank inspection stored on our secure servers for future reference and record-keeping compliance
Even the toughest tanks sometimes need repair. When a component isn’t working well — or at all — we can replace and install new parts to have your tank back up and running at its optimal performance level.
Just some of the many repairs we perform:
- Water level indicators
- Field/leak
- Safety equipment
- Field retrofit
- Silt removal
We supply all the parts you need for your Aquastore® and Columbian TecTank®, including:
- Sidewall Sheets
- Floor Sheets
- Roof Panels and Vents
- Manways
- Ladders
